Will an open top smell?
Clumps leave the litter after every visit. They sit in the drawer below until you empty it, about weekly, sooner with more cats. No litter box is odor-free. This one doesn’t leave clumps sitting where your cat digs.
Is it loud at night?
Under 20 dB while it works. Quiet isn’t silent: in a still room you may hear the tub turn. Set a delay in the app, or press Clean when you’re up.
I gave up on a self-cleaner before. What’s different?
No hood to squeeze under. The tub stops if a cat steps in. Nervous cat? Manual mode in the app means it only turns when you press Clean. It takes the clumping litter you already use, and cleans without Wi-Fi.
More than one cat?
It sifts after every visit, whichever cat went, and stops if the next one steps in mid-clean. The app logs each visit’s weight, so cats of different sizes are easy to tell apart. More cats fill the drawer faster.
My cat pees high or kicks litter. Will an open top work?
The back and sides rise above the litter to help hold kicked litter in. The front dips for entry, and very high pee can clear an open top. A mat in front helps; one isn’t included.
Going away for a few days?
It sifts after every visit on its own, with or without Wi-Fi. Empty the drawer and top up the litter before you leave.
What’s setup like? Does it need Wi-Fi?
Fit the liner, pour in clumping litter, and plug in. It cleans on its own from there. Wi-Fi is optional: join 2.4 GHz in the app for the visit log, manual mode and delayed cleans.
